Sauna bath
Sauna bathing - more than just sweating
Health, mindfulness and knowledge combined in an ancient ritual
Sauna bathing is a centuries-old health ritual with deep roots in Finnish culture - today interpreted in a modern way in the USA. It's not just about sweating per se: a professionally conducted sauna bath promotes health, mental relaxation and a conscious approach to your own body. In our training courses, we impart well-founded knowledge for all those who want to accompany sauna guests safely, competently and effectively.
A sauna bath involves more than just heat: it is a holistic bathing cycle in which warming up, sweating, cooling down and resting are precisely coordinated. It is only through this alternating stimulus that the health-promoting effect on the cardiovascular system, the immune system and the muscles unfolds. The skin is cleansed and the mind becomes clear - provided the bath is carried out correctly.
The role of the trained sauna specialist is crucial here. They know how to set up a safe infusion, recognize health warning signs in guests and create an atmosphere of mindfulness and relaxation with targeted instructions. Particularly important: guests must be informed at all times, addressed respectfully and supported in an emergency - be it in the event of circulatory problems or uncertainty during the ceremony.
Our training not only teaches the physiological basics of sauna bathing, but also modern practical standards: from the correct procedure for an infusion to hygiene requirements and the responsible use of essential oils and potential allergens.
